Frisky Goat Cafe & Bakery, a relatively new joint within TTDI that is gaining quick popularity amongst the community. It's no wonder, as they are whipping up some pretty drool worthy looking dishes with a combination of beautifully decorated interior and all round soft warm lighting that greets you as you come through the entrance.
This place was packed to the brim on a Saturday afternoon so I'd suggest popping by earlier to avoid waiting. However, the owners were very attentive in assuring their customer were seated as soon as possible. So, thumbs up!
I love their bricked wall interior. Gives you that 'old english' feel, if you know what I mean :)
On to food!
On to food!
For starter, I ordered their creamy mushroom soup (RM17) & boy was it creamy, a little too creamy &thick for my liking. However, taste wise the soup had enough flavor.
Next, came the Asian Style Soft-Shell Crab Pasta (RM36.50). Pasta was al-dente with good flavors, tasted tom yam-ish with the chili and added kaffir lime leafs. I really enjoyed this dish. The soft shell crab was crispy and delicious too!
Pasta con Vongole (RM25.50). I did not quite enjoy this pasta dish as I found it to be quite lacking in terms of flavor and the seafood didn't seem quite fresh. Hopefully they will improve in time, it has only been close to a month since opening.
Eggs en Cocotte (RM21.50) Frisky Goat's version of baked eggs that has in it spiced sausage, beef bacon & cherry tomatoes served with bread.
Decadent French Toast (RM19.90)
A brilliant dessert or breakfast. You have your classic french toast served with some apple chutney & crispy roasted walnuts drenched in honey & topped with cream & vanilla ice cream. Indulgence!

Peach Passion Tea (RM 9) Throughly enjoyed this lovely concoction with bits of fruit in it, not overly sweet like most iced tea.
They had a wide variety of desserts displayed but I was already too stuffed to try them by the time I'm done with the french toast (Red Opera & the Fresh Plum Tart looked tantalizing!) Shall save them to try on my next visit :)
