Pulp cafe is definitely set to be a massive contender of 2014's nicest cafes. Situated at Jalan Riong near an old art-printing factory & storehouse, this cafe truly takes my breath away with its clean and pretty minimalist environment. You could hang out here for hours and not feel the time pass by. This place even have a standing bar for coffee drinkers who prefer to stand and chat while sipping away. I visited on a chilly rainy afternoon and was well greeted upon making my order at the counter by friendly servers, all smiles :) So, thumbs up!
Behold, Pulp Cafe guys!

High ceilings and big glass windows makes this cafe spacious even when fully occupied. The wooden interior and floor gives it a rustic yet modern feel with its unique design.
A space/ training ground for coffee enthusiasts. Expect cupping sessions and workshops in the future.
I love how they have this small room with a long table in it that acts as a standing coffee table beautifully decorated with orchids. The first I've seen in a cafe.
On to Food & Drinks!
Pulp currently serve only drinks and a variety of desserts and pastries such as chocolate & fruit tarts, chicken pies, quiches etc.
You know me and my hot chocolate :) The hot chocolate served here was slightly sweet compared to my favorite at 'Three Little Birds' cafe (you can find my review under the cafe series) which is darker and has a much stronger cocoa taste. Pleasant nevertheless but just not the best.
Decadent chocolate tart (RM15). No complains there but again nothing to shout about as well. The exterior biscuit base was a bit soft, the chocolate interior is more of a cake texture than a goey chocolate filling. Will probably come back to review the other desserts and pastries they had, so stay tune!
For all you coffee lovers, Pulp serves their own version of a cold brew. As you know, I am coffee-intolerant (boohoo!) so if you do head over there and try this, please do leave a comment below and let me know how does it fare compared to other cold brews available out there! Appreciate the love guys :)
