The Humble Pie Co, located just near the famous Kanna Curry House is a wonderful place to satisfy that inner craving for a good sweet pie. Previously an online pastry & cake shop, it has now transform into a full fledged artisanal cafe with delicious pies and food as well! Clearly the pies here are the most popular item as they were constantly churned out fresh from the kitchen ready to be consumed by in-house customers or taken away. Dessert fans, beware.
Hi GUYS!! :) Get ready for a picture flooded post of FOOD, FOOD & more FOOD! This post is dedicated to my recent weekend trip to JB aka Johor Bahru and my food adventures there. From the famous 'Pontian Wantan Noodle', BKT (Bak Kut Teh) to the proclaimed 'BEST Chicken Chop in JB', its all here! Without further ado, enjoy the pictures and I hope you wouldn't feel too hungry afterwards! ;)
Before that, I would like to mention that my stay at KSL Resort (JB) was an absolutely pleasurable experience. Easy access to many delicious food around (Both the 'Pontian Wanton Noodle' branch and BKT restaurant was within walking distance), shopping mall right within the hotel and delicious buffet breakfast spread!

Here it is! PART 2 of my 'Saturday Brunch' :) I hope you guys enjoyed PART 1 which is just right before this post so do check that out!
Picking up from where we left, after brunch with the girls at Epicuro we headed off to Damansara Perdana to visit Epique cafe, which is situated near Seven Cups Coffee. A lovely cafe indeed with brightly lit bulbs all over the place, almost reminding me of Christmas lightings :) The barista/ server was super friendly and smiley. No doubt, we definitely enjoyed our visit there. Scroll down and see why! :)
Saturday brunches are one of my favorite things in the whole world. Being able to wake up slightly later than usual, dress up all nice and head out for an awesome brunch with the girlfriends :) My ideal everyday life really...... And that was what I did last Saturday with two close girlfriends:) It was a good opportunity to check out Epicuro, a cafe situated at Damansara Uptown which has been around for a while now since mid last year. It was a cold and rainy Saturday late morning and boy were we starving for good food! As usual guys, I'm always a 'let the pictures speak' kinda girl and it is what I emphasize here in my blog so..............let's go!
Standing Theory cafe is no stranger among coffee fans alike within PJ area with its consistency in both quality and taste. This is a cafe that I'd return to over and over again for good food and delicious cakes no doubt. Having started in early November last year, Standing Theory has been on a good roll with its coffee and lunch menu while having the dinner menu launched not too long ago. I will do an update review on their lunch menu but check out what is cooking on their dinner menu in this post! :) Enjoy!
PCLO Cafe, a no frills straight up outdoor coffee joint hidden behind a relatively new Modvier boutique on Jalan Riong. Easy directions: Turn left right before Petronas station in Bangsar and the boutique is situated just on the right hand side of the 'dead end' road. A unique outdoor setting cafe currently run by barista Jeremy, this place is laid back and relax. Despite being outdoor, the place is relatively shady with just a nice amount of sunlight hitting every table. Things are kept airy with fans around so no worries:) I came over with a girlfriend to check things out and well.... we really like the place :)
Pulp cafe is definitely set to be a massive contender of 2014's nicest cafes. Situated at Jalan Riong near an old art-printing factory & storehouse, this cafe truly takes my breath away with its clean and pretty minimalist environment. You could hang out here for hours and not feel the time pass by. This place even have a standing bar for coffee drinkers who prefer to stand and chat while sipping away. I visited on a chilly rainy afternoon and was well greeted upon making my order at the counter by friendly servers, all smiles :) So, thumbs up!
Behold, Pulp Cafe guys!
Family run cafe, Thirdwave is a simple fuss free eatery/cafe that can be found at Nexus, in Bangsar South that serves up pretty awesome meal deals all round, not to mention good coffee (Expect light roast coffee here). I dropped by around 2:30pm in the afternoon to fill my empty tummy up for lunch and let's just say that in the end, I was STUFFED. You'll see why :) The design in this cafe is kept to the minimal and offers a different ambience compared to the far too common sight of the industrial/ wood-ish/ rustic themes that you see in most cafes today. The cafe itself is very spacious with brightly lit bulbs all around & beautiful paintings displayed on the wall.
A beautiful stunning bungalow situated near KLCC serving fine French food. I came here for my 2nd year anniversary and had an absolutely wonderful time, enjoying both glorious food and ambience that the restaurant had to offer. We had the Sunday Brunch and the food was heavenly. Expensive.....but heavenly.
Ps: For their Sunday brunch, everything is refillable & cooked upon request. Think of it as a cook to order buffet, which is brilliant really.
