PCLO Cafe, a no frills straight up outdoor coffee joint hidden behind a relatively new Modvier boutique on Jalan Riong. Easy directions: Turn left right before Petronas station in Bangsar and the boutique is situated just on the right hand side of the 'dead end' road. A unique outdoor setting cafe currently run by barista Jeremy, this place is laid back and relax. Despite being outdoor, the place is relatively shady with just a nice amount of sunlight hitting every table. Things are kept airy with fans around so no worries:) I came over with a girlfriend to check things out and well.... we really like the place :)
Hi All! I decided to do something a little fun with this 2 part post of my 'fancy or frugal' Friday dinner date night. I have personally been blessed with an amazing partner and we make it a weekly thing on every friday night to go out for a nice dinner after all the hardwork during the weekdays. It is after all the end of the week and the beginning of the awesome weekend so what else better then to spend friday nights out and about :)
Pulp cafe is definitely set to be a massive contender of 2014's nicest cafes. Situated at Jalan Riong near an old art-printing factory & storehouse, this cafe truly takes my breath away with its clean and pretty minimalist environment. You could hang out here for hours and not feel the time pass by. This place even have a standing bar for coffee drinkers who prefer to stand and chat while sipping away. I visited on a chilly rainy afternoon and was well greeted upon making my order at the counter by friendly servers, all smiles :) So, thumbs up!
Behold, Pulp Cafe guys!
Happy Friday dear readers! Today I have another mini fashion post for you on white blazers and how I've created 3 looks to wear this very versatile & staple wardrobe piece. The 'White Blazer' in my opinion is as essential to have as a black blazer. You can wear them for work, out for a party, to the cinema, pretty much on most occasions depending on how you style accordingly of course! Oh and FYI, my white blazer is from H&M :)
For this cafe series post, I decided to do something a little different then my usual posts. I'd like to call it Cafe'tography' or in lay man terms, cafe photogaphy :) I will be displaying more of my edited cafe photos here so things are gona get a little artsy with this post :) I hope you'll like them and do let me know what you guys think!
Three Little Birds Coffee is situated at Jalan Sentul and is an absolutely gorgeous cafe to photograph :) The natural lighting that hits the furniture in this quaint cafe makes it perfect to take 'tumblr-worthy' pictures here. The cafe directly faces the lush greenery outside separated by a glass wall, perfect to sit next to and enjoy good coffee and relax. Also not to mention they serve awesome hot dark chocolate (RM11), which is my favorite! (They also serve hot white chocolate here!) ;)
Ahhh, I don't know about you but I personally LOVE purple lipsticks. Be it matte, glossy or cream. When worn, it can be both vampy-licious or sweet depending on the intensity of the purple of course. Here are my top 4 favourite purple-toned lipsticks from our local drugstores aka pharmacies! (Watsons, Guardian, Caring etc.) Cheap & good quality, what more can you ask for??
Family run cafe, Thirdwave is a simple fuss free eatery/cafe that can be found at Nexus, in Bangsar South that serves up pretty awesome meal deals all round, not to mention good coffee (Expect light roast coffee here). I dropped by around 2:30pm in the afternoon to fill my empty tummy up for lunch and let's just say that in the end, I was STUFFED. You'll see why :) The design in this cafe is kept to the minimal and offers a different ambience compared to the far too common sight of the industrial/ wood-ish/ rustic themes that you see in most cafes today. The cafe itself is very spacious with brightly lit bulbs all around & beautiful paintings displayed on the wall.
A hidden gem at The Club Bandar Utama, it's Roast FactorGlee! A quaint & all round rustic cafe that serves up delicious coffee, scrumptious dessert & all-day breakfast to fill up tummies! I popped by here on a sunny Saturday afternoon to try their weekend breakfast and also savor some house baked fresh scones :) But first, a look at this well designed & constructed cafe!
Here are a couple of my own spring 2014 compilation looks that I have been wearing for a couple of weekends. What I love about floral prints is its versatility to match different colors and it also adds an instant touch of 'girly' to your overall look :)
Look No. 1 :
I got this floral blazer from www.un-masqued.com! Follow them on instagram @ 'unmasqued' for special pieces like this one that is 'instagram only' exclusive. Paired it with my nude-ish pink colored basic spaghetti top from Forever 21 (I love F21 spaghetti tops because they have it in so many colors and are so versatile for different looks! Their cutting is very body hugging and also super comfortable. Sizes from XS to L) with a torn up high waisted jeans short from Bangkok. My staple nude & black heels from Charles & Keith.
Look No. 2 :
The highlight of this look is definitely the gorgeous pink floral skirt/with pants inside that I bought from Forever 21. They had this in black, dark blue & cream color with the same pink flower prints on. Mine is actually in dark blue(although it does appear black here) Again, super versatile! Matched it with my black F21 spaghetti top & black soft outerwear-blazer from Cotton On. Makes me feel oh-so-chic in floral! lol
Look No. 3 :
This easy slip in beach floral print dress is from Zara that I purchased a while back. I love slip in tube dresses like this one, so easy when you're scratching on what to wear for a Saturday day out or even on a date night :)
That is all for this mini fashion series!
What's your favorite floral pieces?
Frisky Goat Cafe & Bakery, a relatively new joint within TTDI that is gaining quick popularity amongst the community. It's no wonder, as they are whipping up some pretty drool worthy looking dishes with a combination of beautifully decorated interior and all round soft warm lighting that greets you as you come through the entrance.
