Saturday brunches are one of my favorite things in the whole world. Being able to wake up slightly later than usual, dress up all nice and head out for an awesome brunch with the girlfriends :) My ideal everyday life really...... And that was what I did last Saturday with two close girlfriends:) It was a good opportunity to check out Epicuro, a cafe situated at Damansara Uptown which has been around for a while now since mid last year. It was a cold and rainy Saturday late morning and boy were we starving for good food! As usual guys, I'm always a 'let the pictures speak' kinda girl and it is what I emphasize here in my blog so..............let's go!
A 3pm-6pm coffee and cake special! So if you're working around the area and need a quick caffeine + sugar fix, you know where to go:)
Cute & quirky hand drawings on this chalk friendly wall :)
Loving the yellow and black theme of the cafe. Also, notice how the cute old lady is smiling on the left side! :) (Since I was taking the picture anyways lol)
Your usual FB & Instagram tags :)
On to the important aspect, FOOD!! :D

BLT & Egg Sandwich (RM14.90)
In my opinion, nothing to shout about really just your typical bacon, lettuce, tomato and egg topped with mayo. The fries however, were seriously addictive. Well seasoned and crispy.

Bacon Aglio Olio (RM16.90)
Spaghetti was al-dente, flavorful but you may probably wana add just a tad bit more salt :) Decent enough but I wouldn't order this a second time through.

Linguine with pesto (RM`19.90)
My absolute favorite dish of the three. The pasta came with a lot of bacon and I love how they added freshly cubed tomatoes into their house made basil & walnut pesto, a great combination! It came in a good portion too! Highly recommended if you are a pesto person. Thumbs up!

Hot Chocolate (RM10)
Not too sweet, rich dark cocoa taste & super pretty art! What's not to love?:)
We also ordered Flat White (RM10) & English Breakfast tea (RM9), both good accompaniments to our overall brunch :)
Dessert after your meal? Epicuro has a pretty good selection of cakes such as Crunchy Nutella or Blueberry Cheesecake to satisfy :) We did not order any cakes because I wanted to check out another relatively new coffee & cake kinda cafe at Empire Damansara for dessert instead. *HINT*, It starts with an 'E' as well :) That will be coming up in PART 2 of my Saturday Brunch, so stay tune!!
